Open System by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.
In the left pane, click System Protection. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Select the drive to delete from and click "Configure…".
In the new dialog click "Remove".
This method might be usefull if you need to copy the partition without the restore points and without having to boot the system.
